Health Canada recently released an update concerning Child Safety and Corded Window Coverings. Corded window coverings pose a choking hazard to small children tragically killing a few children each year.
Now Maxxmar has released a solution to this danger with its newest Child Safety technology: The DecoraSafe Child Safety System!
The DecoraSafe system removes the need to have dangling hazardous cords coming from your blinds or shades. Using a patent-pending design, Maxxmar has turned the cord into a sleek crank that folds into its housing bar. By removing cords from blinds and shades using the DecoraSafe System, Maxxmar provides child-safe blinds and shades which pose no choking hazard to small children or infants.
If you have corded window coverings and small children in your home, take caution when buying window coverings and opt for cordless coverings. If you would like blinds or shades, consider asking your in-home consultant about Maxxmar’s DecoraSafe System and how you can get it in your home.
